This years Omaha Disc Expo will play host to one of the best Ultimate Tournaments in the region!

 

“Great Plains Showdown” – GPS 2013

Ultimate is excited to join the Omaha Disc Expo! Following a one year hiatus, Nebraska Disc is excited to announce a brand new early season club ultimate event, Great Plains Showdown. Formerly Battle in the Bluffs, we have moved to great new fields and have a sweet party lined up at Lucky Bucket Brewing Company. GPS2013 is sponsored by Ultimate Disc Store and is part of the larger Omaha Disc Expo the weekend of June 8^th and 9^th.

Bids – $300 **include a $30 donation to the Nebraska Humane Society.  Proceeds from raffles on site will also go to help NHS.

Teams: 12-14

Format: Standard Saturday pool play, Sunday bracket play format. Your team is guaranteed 6 games for the weekend, although it is likely you will play more.

Amenities:

-Great fields at La Vista Sports Complex. Field tape to be used, three sets to winner, two to 2^nd place, one to 3^rd place.

-Team and player packs with jerseys, discs, etc.

-Experienced and dedicated tournament staff committed to providing you with an unmatched weekend

-Fruit and bagels provided for breakfast

-Hot concessions for sale on site

-Massage therapist on site

-Accessible water stations at all fields – your team will not run out of ice cold water all weekend long. Bring your own jugs and containers to fill up.

-Party at Lucky Bucket Brewing Company – Polish horseshoes, disc races, great beer, BBQ dinner

-Tournament hotel across the street from party at Lucky Bucket

-Sponsored by Ultimate Disc Store and part of the Omaha Disc Expo. UDS team will be on site selling their own merchandise and tournament merchandise

-Free bid to GPS2014 to this year’s winner
